My kids love technology almost (if not more) than me, so when we brought home our new iPhone 4s, they were more than a little curious, especially Parker.
He was infatuated with Siri, walking around asking her questions like, “How old are you?” (“None of your business”, she said) and “Why did the chicken cross the road?” (“To get to the other side. Ha Ha”, she said.) He also was enamored with the video camera, asking us to videotape him doing everything from singing to playing the drums to long monologues.
But the thing Parker loves best is the camera, especially once he figured out he could take pictures of himself…dozens at a time. I picked up my phone the other day and realized that I had over 200 pictures of Parker making faces at the camera. Over 200!!! Before I deleted all of them, I decided to pick out just a few to immortalize his…facial gymnastics? narcissism? joy for life?
Whatever it is…he makes me smile…
