After a few days of frantic cleaning, packing, shopping, and trying to keep the kids entertained during the recent hot sticky days, we are heading off to Grand Haven for the next week. For the last few years, Ben’s parents have rented a house there for the whole family. This year, there will be 10 of us – six adults and four kids three and under.
I think we are going to fill the entire mini-van up with…stuff. Ben is loading it up as we speak, and I should probably be doing something important like getting my coffeecake out of the freezer so I don’t forget it and have to eat the whole thing myself when we get home.
We are hoping to have wireless, but it is not a sure thing. I don’t know if I can go another full week without some connection to the Internet, like I did when we went to Ely. We’ll see.
Looks like Parker is up…time to step it into high gear, I suppose. South Haven, here we come!
