I slowly rumbled by the house again today, and almost didn’t stop. It looked like the same piles of dirt, the same hole, but I decided to jump out and hop over to see what was going on.
I was glad I did, because when I peeked over the edge, I saw steel and concrete pathways snaking around the perimeter of the hole. I yelped in surprise, and might have even jumped up and down. I didn’t have my camera with me, and my iPhone was completely out of batteries, so Ben went by later and took a few pictures…
I guess they are called footings, and I guess it means we could have basement walls very soon!
